Issues with submitting Pre-Complaint Inquiry or Immediate Right to Sue (Resolved)

As of April 14th 2015 this issue has been resolved with Google's release of Chrome version 42 (see here). Computers running Chrome 41 should be updated automatically by Google to version 42, but you can manually update your browser to this release by going to google.com/chrome

Problem: During the intake process the third step, "Confirm & Submit", is restricting the user from submitting their Pre-Complaint Inquiry/Right-to-Sue. The user is also unable to click on any buttons, select and type into the verifiers tab or review the draft document.

Reason: On March 6, 2015 - Google released an update for Chrome (version 41). This update is causing the DFEH Online System to be frozen on the third step of the intake process. Also, this issue is present in both the Windows (PC) and OSX (Mac) versions of Chrome (version 41).

Workaround:

On Windows, the top right of the browser window has three buttons. Minimize, Restore Down/Maximize, and Close, respectively. Once the user selects the middle icon (see image below) the window will be functional again.

On OSX, the top left of the browser window has three buttons. Close, Minimize and Full-screen/Standard views, respectively. Once the user selects the right icon (see image below) the window will be functional again.

Fix: Install Google Chrome version 42 or newer.
